(Malta, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Nelli Melik, Head of Sales at Uplatform granted an interview to SoloAzar about the performance of the firm and the highlights during the Sigma Europe event that was held on November 13th to 17th in Malta. Nelli Melik shares some deep thoughts about how to attract the next players generation: “invest in research and development…and adapt to changing consumer preferences, as Uplatform do”.

What were the company's objectives for this edition of Sigma Europe in Malta?
SiGMA brings together industry professionals and serves as a platform for networking and exploring the latest developments and innovations in the sector; for Uplatform, it was a great chance to showcase our products and services once again, expand our network, generate leads and partnerships and enhance our brand visibility in the European market. An important part of every event for us is to meet our esteemed partners and collect their feedback on the services we provide. All the goals I’ve mentioned were achieved by Uplatform at the show.
What novelties did you present at the event, and what was the feedback you got from the attendees and visitors to your stand?
Our stand at SiGMA Europe, as usual, received attention and positive feedback from the audience. We hosted games, gave out branded gifts, and treated everyone to our signature bubble tea for refreshment during the demonstration of our flagship sports betting solutions. Once again, the turnout of guests at our stand speaks more about Uplatform's general attitude - we are active, positive, welcoming and professional at all times, which is exactly how we communicate within our teams. And this is also how we developed and grew our Casino aggregator product - with the same energy and professionalism.

What do you think about this edition of Sigma Europe, and what do you consider to be the highlights during this edition of the event?
This year was the biggest event for SiGMA Europe, and needless to say, the venue was massive. It took us a while to walk around and see what our partners and competitors prepared for this year, and we were blown away by the quantity and quality of the stands presented at the show, both indoors and outdoors. We really liked the idea of having a fortune teller like Chilly Partners did, enjoyed the moment of tranquillity and recovery in the Oxygen chamber offered by Alea, soaked in some sun at Pragmatic’s outdoor lounge, had a drink at the Winfinity bar… only virgin drinks, of course.
What, in your opinion, are the key elements needed to draw in the next generation of gambling players, and how does your company contribute to driving innovation within the sector in the region?
In our opinion, in order to attract the next generation of players, companies in the gambling sector need to focus on innovative technologies, such as virtual reality, and augmented reality, and develop products for mobile platforms. This includes creating immersive and interactive experiences for the players, offering personalized and tailored content and bonuses, and prioritizing responsible gambling practices over anything else. Companies that invest in research and development, collaborate with emerging tech companies, and adapt to changing consumer preferences will be better positioned to attract the next generation of players. This is what we currently do at Uplatform, and we will keep growing our product offering taking into account the changing landscape of iGaming.
